Meet Kellee
I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Brisbane, working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental health concerns. I have been a registered psychologist for over 20 years and am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports meaningful and lasting change.
Background & Expertise
I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland, following a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Human Movement Studies and Sociology. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
I have worked across a variety of settings including private practice, schools, and university teaching. I have also held roles within the Mater Child and Youth Mental Health Service, as well as the Royal Children’s and Royal Brisbane Hospitals. Through this work, I have supported a diverse range of clients, including individuals impacted by trauma, adolescents undergoing cancer treatment, and people living with chronic health conditions.
Alongside my clinical work, my research and publications have focused on areas such as mental health following natural disasters, and depression and anxiety in adults living with chronic illness.
Approach & Philosophy
I take a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, with a strong focus on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood and supported, while also helping them develop practical strategies to navigate challenges and improve their wellbeing.
I tailor my work to each individual, recognising that everyone’s experiences and needs are unique.
