Dr Sonia is an AHPRA-registered Psychologist who offers assessment and therapy to individuals aged 16 +. She has over 26 years of experience in the field of mental health. She offers psychological assessment and therapy to individuals aged 16 and over, bringing deep expertise and an integrative, client‑centred approach to her work.
Sonia has worked across a range of settings including public health, tertiary education, the charity sector, and private practice. Her extensive experience supporting adults includes work with university students, and she has a strong clinical interest in student mental health and suicide research.
Sonia supports people through a broad range of psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, mood instability, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, suicide‑related distress, and self‑harm. She draws on evidence‑based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion‑Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic and Person‑Centred approaches to tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs.
