Jason is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Registrar with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build lasting resilience. Drawing on over 18 years of diverse professional experience, including 14 years in the Australian Army and 4 years working in private security in Kabul, Afghanistan, Jason brings a unique perspective to his practice, particularly when supporting veterans, emergency services personnel, and their families.

With expertise in evidence-based psychological interventions, Jason manages a broad caseload that spans across children, adolescents, and adults, offering both individual and group therapy tailored to each client’s needs. Jason is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centred therapy that empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, develop resilience, and lead fulfilling lives. Jason value's working together with clients, their families, and other professionals to ensure holistic, positive outcomes.

As an ex-serviceman, Jason is deeply committed to the well-being of those who serve, having developed extensive experience working with veterans and their families to facilitate healing and resilience. Jason's clinical work includes supporting veterans and first responders in overcoming trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, chronic pain, anger management, relationship difficulties, enhancing coping strategies, managing stress, promoting mental health within high-pressure environments and other mental health challenges.

Another significant area of Jason's practice is children and adolescent development, with a particular focus on young males, autism, and ADHD. Jason believes that every young person can thrive when given the right support. Jason works closely with families to address issues such as identity development, trauma, anger management, academic struggles, and mental health disorders like depression and anxiety. Jason's collaborative, strengths-based approach aims for successful treatment outcomes through tailored strategies and best practice.

With his life experience as a parent and my extensive cross-cultural exposure, including time spent living abroad, Jason brings a rich, empathetic approach to his work. Jason is approachable, open, and flexible, making it easy to build trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and adults alike.
