Lydia Elsworthy is the Director and Senior Psychologist and has a strong belief in a holistic approach to psychology which underpins her practice. Lydia specialises in identifying giftedness and twice-exceptional profiles in children and adolescents and is highly regarded for her comprehensive and thoughtful approach to assessment.
Lydia conducts detailed cognitive, learning, and developmental assessments, providing families with clear, meaningful insights into a child’s strengths, differences, and support needs. Her reports are known for being thorough, practical, and easy to understand, helping parents, schools, and other professionals feel confident in how to best support each young person.
With a warm and collaborative style, Lydia works closely with families to ensure the assessment process feels supportive and empowering. She is passionate about recognising potential, advocating for appropriate educational support, and helping children better understand how they learn and experience the world.
Lydia sees clients for cognitive and educational assessments at Woodside Centre in Toowong, Brisbane and works alongside families and schools to ensure recommendations are both practical and impactful.
