Meet Lydia

I am the Director of Woodside Centre and a Senior Psychologist with a strong belief in a holistic approach to psychology, which underpins my work with children, adolescents, and their families.

Background & Expertise

I specialise in identifying giftedness and twice-exceptional profiles in children and adolescents, and I am highly regarded for my comprehensive and thoughtful approach to assessment.

I conduct detailed cognitive, learning, and developmental assessments, providing families with clear and meaningful insights into a child’s strengths, differences, and support needs. My reports are designed to be thorough, practical, and easy to understand, helping parents, schools, and other professionals feel confident in how best to support each young person.

I work closely with families and schools to ensure that recommendations are practical, meaningful, and able to be implemented effectively across settings.

Approach & Philosophy

I take a warm, collaborative, and holistic approach to my work, ensuring the assessment process feels supportive and empowering for both children and their families.

I am passionate about recognising each child’s unique potential, advocating for appropriate educational support, and helping young people better understand how they learn and experience the world.
