Meet Rachael

I am the Director and a Senior Psychologist with over 20 years of experience across clinical and assessment settings. I work from a neurodiversity-affirming framework and specialise in comprehensive diagnostic assessments for ADHD and Autism across the lifespan.

Background & Expertise

I have extensive experience conducting ADHD, Autism, and broader psychosocial and developmental assessments, allowing me to develop a thorough understanding of each individual’s profile. My work focuses on identifying both strengths and support needs, ensuring that clients and families feel heard, understood, and validated throughout the assessment process.

I also have particular expertise in working with gifted and twice-exceptional individuals, where high ability can sometimes mask or complicate the identification of neurodevelopmental differences. I am passionate about ensuring these nuanced profiles are recognised and supported in ways that honour each person’s strengths and potential.

My reports are detailed, clear, and practical, providing meaningful guidance for supports across home, school, and workplace settings. I also have significant experience identifying and differentiating co-occurring conditions, ensuring that overlapping presentations are carefully understood and that recommendations are precise and individualised.

Alongside my assessment work, I am committed to advocacy and education, supporting individuals and families to better understand their experiences through a strengths-based, neuro-affirming lens.

Approach & Philosophy

I take a strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach to my work, recognising the importance of understanding each person’s unique identity and experience. I aim to create a process that feels supportive, respectful, and empowering for both individuals and their families.

I am passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences and ensuring they feel confident in understanding themselves and their needs.
